Following a suggestion from a member, the Committee resolved this morning to adopt a policy of “Changing on the Bell” – this means that players will be notified before commencement of play that they are to automatically change when the Bell rings.
In the event that a major problem develops then Directors will of course continue to have the option of switching off the bell until order is restored. The over riding concept is that sessions should not be held up by slow players – persistent offenders can be penalised with score adjustments.
